Cicada Hatch
Cicadas are appearing in some numbers, it is still too early to project the strength of this hatch, but at this time it is showing some strong indicators that it could be a great one. Warmer weather has an obvious effect on these terrestrials that many people call "locusts and this past week has been cold and rainy. The species being found most are the smaller Platypedia which averages one and a half inches from head to tips of wings.
